Series: To Watch

The Librarians on TNT starting December 7

Yeah, that’s right.

The trilogy movie series (The Librarian: Quest for the SpearThe Librarian: Return to King Solomon’s Mines, and The Librarian: Curse of the Judas Chalice) has been turned into a TNT dramedy starring, among others, Christian Kane (known for this role in Leverage and for his country music), and the guy who was the original librarian, Noah Wyle; also Rebecca Romijn-formerly-Stamos (among other people).

It looks really campy and right up my alley. Also, it was filmed in Portland, Oregon, (fine, it was filmed in Clackamas, which is really close, ok) so yay celebrity sightings in my new hometown/landmark sightings during the show. Mark your calendars now for the season premiere on December 7, 2014.

  1. Can’t wait for The Librarians with Christian Kane.!! This is going to be great.. Dean Devlin and John Rogers also did my favorite all time tv show.. Leverage and Christian starred in that as well!!! so a must see show for me!

Book review time!
The Story of Diva and Flea
By Mo Willems + Tony DiTerlizzi
Loved this as a read-aloud for little ones that can sit still for longer picture books, or, as it's a beginning chapter book, great for ages 6-8 who are learning how to read more confidently by themselves.

#poemaday #nationalpoetrymonth #haiku #kerouac #wildlyread #poem #poetry First day of full-time hours in my new job as a bookseller for an independent bookstore, and it's staff pick time! I fell in love with this book years ago, before the movie was even a dream. Though I'm not a fan of the movie tie-in cover, I'll gladly place this book in readers' hands. . . .
