I’ve been spending some time online lately, perusing book publisher catalogues, and came across this charming little board book series put out by Penguin Random House called Hello, World!
It’s written/illustrated by Ashley Evanson, and the first four in the series just came out this month:
- New York: A Book of Colors
- San Francisco: A Book of Numbers
- Paris: A Book of Shapes
- London: A Book of Opposites
I’m actually not sure if there are going to be more in the series or not, but they remind me of two of my favorite series – the BabyLit board book series and the Miroslav Sasek This is… series – so win-win! Let’s start children off early with reading about other places/cultures! Plus, those illustrations are so cheerful and colorful. What’s not to love?
