It is so exciting for me to be back in the book world, well, for many reasons, but one of them is that I get to peruse the bookshelves and pore over catalogues, looking at all the delightful children’s books I’ve missed in the last few years. Princeton Architectural Press is one of those small presses that unless you’re working in the industry, is easy to overlook. This is a real shame, considering they have some real gems on their list.
Olivia Cosneau’s activity book series is a new favorite:
- In the Age of Dinosaurs
- Butterflies of the World
- At the Seashore
- In the Vegetable Garden, Spring 2017
- Birds of the World, Spring 2017
Another series done by them, the Who Built That? series by Didier Cornille, also caught my eye:
Lastly, these two stand-alone books – one picture book, one activity book – look appealing as well:
- It Was So Quiet I Could Hear a Pin Drop by Andy Goodman
- Sticker Shape Create by Thereza Rowe
